$20.00 provides a parent with a support call from a trained volunteer Support Parent Speaking with another parent who has a child or family member with a disability, health condition or associated issue can give parents the opportunity to be understood by someone who has already travelled this journey. Knowing that you are not alone provides support and empowerment that only another parent can offer.
$30.00 helps a sibling attend a SibSupportN.Z. Programme This programme has been specifically designed to meet the needs of the non disabled brothers and sisters of people with disabilities. Giving children the chance to form their own support networks, as well as time away from the day-to-day stresses of family life with a disabled family member. The programme also offers ways to manage their situation and adjust to their new life.
$40.00 helps a parent or family member attend a support seminar Parent to Parent offers a range of training courses to help navigate and support parents and family members along their journey. One of the many courses we offer is Personal Support, this course helps identify and understand the effects of grief, manage stress and identify your support networks.
$50.00 helps train a volunteer Support Parent Each Support Parent undertakes our Support Parent Training Course which enables them to assist parents through the sharing of common experiences. As you get to know what we you will see the many ways your donation can help provide the vital services that are unique to Parent to Parent.
