Comsign Ltd. was founded in 2005 by Julia & Caroline Genet and Terry Ferguson. Their combined backgrounds include education, psychology, health, disability and graphic design. They envisage the wide use of Visual Communication Tools for all of us, at home, school or in the workplace. From improving your hand washing technique to teaching young children, supporting people with disability, or assisting people rehabilitating from traumatic brain injury.

Visual Communication Tools:

  • use pictures and words to break up tasks into easy to follow steps
  • are location-specific - the Hand Washing Tool is placed above a sink.
  • are moisture-proof - they can be wiped and used in bathrooms or kitchens.
  • make learning tasks fun.
  • evoke less anxiety for the person learning the task as the focus is on the Tool and not the person.
  • The Toileting Tool is portable; you can take it with you or display it on the wall during toilet training days.
